Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and allows book bloggers to spotlight releases that we are greatly anticipating.
This week, my Waiting on Wednesday pick is:
Shooting Stars
by Allison Rushby
Goodreads summary:
Meet Josephine Foster, or Zo Jo as she’s called in the biz. The best pint-sized photographer of them all, Jo doesn’t mind doing what it takes to get that perfect shot, until she’s sent on an undercover assignment to shoot Ned Hartnett—teen superstar and the only celebrity who’s ever been kind to her—at an exclusive rehabilitation retreat in Boston. The money will be enough to pay for Jo’s dream: real photography classes, and maybe even quitting her paparazzi gig for good. Everyone wants to know what Ned’s in for. But Jo certainly doesn’t know what she’s in for: falling in love with Ned was never supposed to be part of her assignment.
Why I’m waiting:
I’m loving contemporary so much these days that I itch for new ones to have in hand. I think this sounds like a light romance that I’d really enjoy between heavier reads. I also happen to think that the cover is darling.
And for a dash more pizazz, I’ll be doing a Q & A with Allison Rushby herself next month on Page Turners Blog (as well as reviewing it)! I can hardly wait!
Shooting Stars will be published February 28th, 2012 by Walker and Co.
