Last Sunday, I mentioned that I had gone to my first book club meeting. The book club was started by the amazing FYA blog (which, if you’re not following it, you should be!) and we discussed the book Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride.
Our group’s leader, Tiffany came up with some great questions that ranged from getting to know each others’ “secret abilities” (it turns out I am not alone in double jointed fingers!) to speculating on the sequel (and yes, there is going to be a sequel!), and it was so much fun to talk YA lit with others! I got tons of book recs and I can’t wait until next month.
We also had a bit of fun with the bar that we met at this time. It was called The Pirate Republic Bar and Grill and we had to take just a couple pictures:

I highly recommend finding a book club to join… the FYA ones are international and there may be one in your area!
