Before a lovely event at Books & Books, I was fortunate enough to be able to interview Marissa Meyer!
If you haven’t read Marissa Meyer’s books, Cinder and Scarlet 1) what are you waiting for? and 2) They are amazingly wonderful futuristic retellings of Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.
Marissa and I chatted about her books, the BOYS in her books, fanfiction, and Sailor Moon, and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to talk with her (especially having been an avid reader of her Sailor Moon fanfiction for ohhhhh, ten years or so? ^_^)

LOVED the interview! Great questions – I enjoyed the whole thing :D I literally just finished Scarlet yesterday in a matter of hours and now I’m totally hooked on the Lunar Chronicles series! So can’t wait for the next two instalments :D :D

Phew. Glad we got that over with. First, I don’t even know why I’ve never discovered your blog before, because I absolutely love it! And second, Marissa is sooo sweet! I just finished Scarlet and I’m sure I will fangirl over it for a loooong time :)

Love this interview!!! It was so so great! Also love how big a fan Marisa Meyer is of Sailor Moon and that she used to write fanfiction. Makes me happy! :)
