The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Much like I attempted with my Impromptu Kick-off Read-a-thon, I’m jumping into Bout of Books in order to start the year off right!
My list for the week is pretty much the same as my IKR:
Scent of Magic by Maria V. Snyder
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken (Currently reading)
Dead Girl Moon by Charlie Price (DNF… I tried, I really did)
Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick (Finished)
Fox Forever by Mary E. Pearson
Unremembered by Jessica Brody
If I accomplish all of those by Sunday I will be THRILLED, but I’d settle for 5/6. ;) I’m also aiming to:
-Write 4 reviews (1/4)
-Comment on 20 blogs of others participating.
