I got a tad judgmental on someone’s reading choices the other day. I forgot one very important rule: READING IS SUBJECTIVE. Read what you enjoy and don’t let Judgy McJudgersons like me stop you.
I felt the same way about 50 Shades! I am a huge YA fan and have very similar taste in books as you. My good friend who doesn’t read as much raved about 50 Shades so I gave it a try. I thought it was sooo poorly written! Awful! It made me feel like a book snob!
Jen is a twenty-something who lives and breathes words. Sometimes she eats them too, but only when she's feeling peckish.
This blog is focused primarily on Young Adult literature, but writing thoughts sneak in now and again. Random thoughts used to sneak in quite often, but now, not so much. For more varied content, you can visit Jen's personal blog, Speaking Jenerally.
Or, you can try her on YouTube where she has a sporadically updated personal channel and where she also does a little BookTubing.
I am an Amazon, Book Depository, and IndieBound Affiliate and if you choose to purchase a book through one of my links, I will receive a (very) small portion of the sale. This does not affect the content of my review in any way, but if you're going to buy a book, please consider using my link. Also please consider supporting my local indie, Books & Books by purchasing from them.
Publisher and author provided copies do not affect the content of my reviews in any way.

Yes! I felt like a total snob! From what I’ve seen it actually is poor writing, but hey, if someone else enjoys it, who am I to judge?
